2024 Post Volunteer Call #01

Throughout 2024 we will need various volunteers to help with K-12, community service, service member/veteran and other events/activities our Post supports. See below for information on upcoming event(s):

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Spring MATHCOUNTS Competition, Feb 17: We are looking for volunteers to serve as scorers or proctors for the Spring BEXAR Chapter MATHCOUNTS Competition on Saturday, Feb 17, 8:15 am - 1:00 pm, at St Mary's University, University Center. No mathematics knowledge is required.

There are 2 steps to register as a volunteer. Register here by selecting the MATH1 registration so we can keep track of our volunteers. Then we will send you the link to register with the organizers.

Alamo Regional Science and Engineering Fair (ARSEF), Feb 17: : We are looking for Post volunteers to serve as judges for in-person ARSEF on Saturday, Feb 17, 1:00 - 6:30 pm, at St Mary's University.

Basura Bash, Feb 17: We are looking for volunteers to support the City's half-day Basura Bash (San Antonio River Cleanup) event on Saturday, Feb 17. Board member, Amy Shirlberg at Amy.Shirlberg@SpecProSvcs.com will be heading up the volunteer team. Register for BBASH registration if interested.

John Jay Science and Engineering Academy (JJSEA) STEAM Fest, Mar 2: We are looking for a few volunteers for a Post STEM activity table at JJSEA STEAM Fest Saturday, Mar 2, 10 am - 1 pm. Register here by selecting the JJSEA registration.

Lieck Elementary STREAM Night, Mar 6: We are looking for a few volunteers for a Post STEM activity table at Leicht Elementary STREAM Night on Wednesday, Mar 6, 5:30 - 7 pm. Register here by selecting LSTREAM registration.
